Zinta lodged complaints against Wadia under IPC sections 354 ie assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty, 504 ie intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, 506 ie punishment for criminal intimidation and 509 that happens to be intimidation by words, gestures or acts intended to insult the modesty of a woman actually so commonly found in the Indian patriarchal mentality
